Being offered is 1 unrooted, leafless, 6″ cuttings of RMMA Blog Avenues – about a 5 inch bloom. It is generally a hard to find but sought after variety of the tropical hibiscus, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis

SHIPPING: The cost per cutting is $9.00 including free worldwide shipping. Some countries have requirements for the importation of plant material, i.e., import permit and or phytosanitary certificate. I will ship worldwide as per your instructions, but failing instructions they will be sent via registered airmail, which permits me to provide a tracking number. Cuttings generally transit in from 10 days to three weeks to arrive in Europe, for example. Such a transit time normally results is the wood still being in good condition and viable. Cuttings that experience longer transit times may will suffer accordingly. The temperatures encountered in route are also a factor. If cold, but not freezing, cuttings can remain viable for as much as 6 weeks; if hot during transit sometimes only a week or a bit more. As risk of cuttings arriving in viable condition is beyond my control, it is a risk the buyer must assume.

Growing Methods: Links to growing as a cutting or as a graft will be supplied. Although these 6″ pieces of unrooted, leafless cuttings may be grown as a cutting, grafting is the best option as the graft union provides hydration and nutrients to the cutting [known as a scion] as soon as the graft union makes connection. Normally  there is enough for 2 grafts.  Grown as a cutting, all the energy to produce the new plant must come from the scion itself. Again, as there are many techniques for growing cuttings and grafting which are beyond my control, I assume no responsibility for poor results, which again if you are not willing to accept, do not buy this offering.

Recommendation: if you can buy this variety, locally, please do so, as shipping and growing cuttings is problematic. Depending upon where you live, it may be your only option to obtain this variety. In this case the additional risk of getting satisfactory results may be warranted, but that is up to you to decide.
